Background
This product utilizes a dextran-based polymer conjugated with multiple horseradish peroxidase (HRP) molecules and antibodies. The polymer increases the enzyme density on the secondary antibody, establishing a high-sensitivity, ready-to-use, non-biotin detection system for immunohistochemical staining. After the primary antibody amplifier (linker) binds to the primary antibody, the polymer further binds to the linker/primary antibody complex, amplifying the signal. The HRP enzyme catalyzes the oxidation of 3,3'-diaminobenzidine (DAB) to form a brown precipitate at the antigen site.
